Karlie's rejuvenation & repair

So my sweet Karlie lost her head again - but this time it wasn't from lousy shipping, when she arrived with a broken skull in an accordion-shaped delivery box. No.. sadly, her 'new' skull broke this time from trying to raise her head via her forehead. Big mistake! Especially as her 'nodding' neck joint was pretty tight to begin with! So - a crack - and then despair...

But hope is not lost, for I know
Doctor Dodgeman: the
Mr Scott Miracle-worker, modern-day
Leonardo Da Vinci of doll repair! (Plus, he lives within a reasonable driving distance). Seeing as how Karlie could use a few other treatments for some other fixes, we elected to drop her off for an extended stay at Dr Dodge's Doll Hospital for (in Navy parlance) some mid-life maintenance.
I dropped Karlie off on Friday (and miss her already, she is so great to snuggle!), and Dr Dodge already has had great progress! She's gonna be like brand new when I finally pick her up!

Still to go- new nipples! (Yay!!) and fix elbow, tighten wrist, finger fix..
She is in very good hands

Hiya! Can't talk much I'm still pretty woozy, and Doctor Dodge says I shouldn't be up.. 
Hey Look Hostage! Dodgie gave me a wristband like Tasha had when she was here in the hospital, and Jenny let me wear one of her wigs too,...YAYYYY! My skull is so nice and strong now and the Doc, adjusted my neck post block where my head is attached so it moves better. My head is better now than ever thanks to the Doc. Have a look at me now with my head all healed up. My eyes feel a little funny yet but, I did loose my head you know!

Yeah I had the same thing happen to me... Except Smoke let me fall over and .. Well.. Off came my head.. All I had was that drunk Old Bastard to put me back together..
Your so lucky!!!!! Dr Dodge is the best in the Biz.
. You will be back to your ole self in no time!

And I love Kristy's prescription for pain! It usually works for me.. The alcohol anyway!
