About 40 years ago, I was working for a company that built certain types of machinery. The secretary in our office quit and my boss was looking for someone to replace her. One day, a gorgeous young lady showed up and, after the interview was over and she left the building, our head draftsman asked him, "Well, can she type?" My boss snapped his fingers and answered, "Oh, darn! I knew there was something I should have asked her!" :haha4:

As it turned out, she got the job. For some reason, my pencil lead kept breaking and guess where the sharpener was?

She left after a few weeks, so my boss had to go through the whole process again.

When I was finishing my first master's degree, the department office had a gorgeous blonde on staff. Yup, we grad students always had a reason to talk to her, you know, to get red pencils for marking assignments and that sort of thing.

Later, when I was working on my second master's, the grad student secretary was always worth chatting with.... and then she got married.
