Blonde, brunette, and redhead aren't really ethnic. JK, I agree with Mr. Franz, though. Given the sheer variety of faces and skin tones available, one can customize a doll to emulate just about any ethnicity one desires. However, as a research pursuit, you may be able to persuade your company to send you on a world tour in search of potential doll projects.
    Hadleigh is a fair-skinned WM163C/#188, Harper (#124) is a medium toned WM164D, Kendall is a fair-skinned 163C/#398. All via RLSD.

Aiko has 5 skin tones, from white as Snow White to “black”. And the wee black girl looks great! Personally I love the bronze skin. Got one, ordered another. I think the mainstream manufacturers could learn from that.

Maybe it’s faces more than skin tones. Offering different skin tones is great! But Her face makes the doll, imo. An example of “ethnic” faces I love...

The third is Tyra Lex, mmm, four I’m not telling, reminds me of a girl I loved... that nose and those eyes... my newly ordered Aiko is going to be named for her. The second is Tatiana Maslany my fav actress. The first is Liv Moore... iZombie... is zombie an ethnicity?

I would love for someone to do a respectful version of an Native American doll.
