Sadly, no. It seems like CNY is about a 3 week deal, but they start a few weeks early and slowly ramp back up over about the same amount of time. Hell, whats 9 weeks in the world of business eh? 
It is okay to feed the bear! In fact, it is highly recommended! Just be sure to count your fingers afterword.
