What is going on?

Post by Zaborg »

It's been a while since I posted and there has been a few updates note worthy.

Jeff from bcd finally was able to get an old of 6ye and they were set to send a package out with my missing feet bolts, an extra head, a head stand and a hanging hook. Last week I received the package and it had all of the previously stated items except the feet bolts. These were the problem item that has me waiting several months now.

Jeff reached out to let them know that I really did need those feet bolts but the communication has gone silent again.

I'm not sure if they use the M6 bolt like WM.
I got some stainless steel bolts for my doll for about $1 from the hardware store.

The holes are pretty small and I'm afraid if I do that and the doll foot breaks I would take the blame. :/

Someone here has got to know the size of the thread, and the length of the screw.
Someone should have a photo of the screw.
At the very least I would think, that 6YE would show you a photo
of the screw and installation.

Maybe you should be making a little louder noise in the 6YE area.

If indeed these are the correct size you need , it will be easy to find out. Just buy one from you local hardware store ( Lowes/Homedepot where ever)
If the screw threads into the hole in the skeleton, then you are all set.
These screws adjust, to almost not being seen to out of the foot 1/8 of an inch or so. That is something you can try and see how it works for you.

This is a very easy fix, and not something you should be waiting on. 6 screws should cost you $6

If you showed us some photos we could help, if you had questions.

Once you get this all figured out, can you post some pics of your 164 D full body? Theres not much out there at the moment for potential buyers to look at.

Do not use a hex head,

use the oval head like Dr Dollinger posted.

I guess it's time for another update. This is the second time that they've told me that everything I need is been sent in the mail gave me a tracking number, and send a package to someone else instead. Very very frustrating :/

That is crazy.
How hard should it be for them to do this!

. One vendor name kept coming up as being great at helping customers walk through the process, Booty Call Dolls. So I decided I would work with them on this first purchase, and did.

You could not of found a better person to help you with your first doll. Jeff /Booty call dolls, knows his stuff... One of the few members that is a vendor and a real lover of dolls. He owns quite a few dolls, and really understands the love we all share.

But really how hard is it for you to order some bolts locally from a hardware supplier or ebay?

Why do people insist on being Shylock having to demand their pound of flesh?

A mistake has been made but you're perfectly able to find remedy locally.

Best wishes

Hell, I'd be upset too. Sure you can get your own bolts, but you shouldn't have to. If I bought a new car and it was missing a lug nut, I'd certainly expect the dealer to remedy the situation, not give me a song and dance or flat out ignore my request.
