Questions on Storage Case and Clothes/Wigs

I'm thinking about getting the storage case as well as clothes/wigs from SSD, separate from a doll purchase. A few questions related to that.

Storage Case Questions:
1) I'd like to get a case to fit dolls within the 160-170cm range. Will the case fit without SSD knowing the exact model that will go into it? Is it sort of universal fit for a given size range?
2) Can I get a case to fit a doll with the head on?

Clothing/Wig questions:
3) Are the clothes/wigs that SSD stain-proof? I read a lot about owners being careful about bright clothes staining dolls, or wigs with black caps staining doll heads.

I don't know anything about SSD wigs, but I've yet to receive anything but a cheap costume wig with any doll I've received. I take them, bag them, then replace them with a higher quality wig I purchase from a local wig shop (do yourself a favor, and do the same).
With that said, yes dark wigs can & sometimes stain the doll's head. It usually happens when the wig is just a bit out of place, so it's pulled to reposition, rather than removing it completely & then putting it back on. No worries though, a little dab of baby oil removes stains on TPE dolls.

I built my own wooden case and made it to handle a doll as large as 170cm+ (future) even though my current doll is 155cm. I use a suit case to store my dolls clothes, both the wooden case and the suit case remain locked. My doll has a lot of room in the case so that her legs can remain far enough apart to protect the TPE and her arms away from her sides and her arm pits open, again to keep the insides of her arms from touching her sides (TPE doesn't appear to like to touch other TPE without issues).

Also, I made the case deep enough so that I could take 2 Queen foam mattress covers and fold them long ways many times so that there is an ultra thick bedding of foam for her heavy and gorgeous body to lay on... her bed is probably more comfortable than mine

I liked the quality of wigs that I was sent with my doll, as well as I ordered extras when one of the vendors had a great discount on discontinued wigs. As long as the wig has a flesh colored liner then it shouldn't stain... the problem are with wigs I bought at a local wig boutique or online that have black netting... then I use a nylon wig cap to protect her and I remove the wig after playtime or photoshoot/activity.

I know that some members have purchased ready made cases, but not sure if they meet the criteria I wanted and listed above.

That reminds me since I also planned to put some mattress toppers as support. How much depth does a doll take up?

It will depend on the doll and the size of her hooters and behind... I will measure the case I made and post it here, as well as measure my girl (she is a 155cm Custom D)...

My doll takes up about 10-11” depth at most... I also have 6-7” of foam padding beneath her (may have been 9-10” when it started out a year ago and. Or is more compressed).

The case is 20” Deep ( or tall ). It is 73” long.

Thanks, that's kind of as I feared. I was going to get an SKB case but the max depth is 10" and with 2" of foam, I was worried there wouldn't be enough space left. That looks to be the case. Unfortunately building a case myself is difficult since I don't have space and tools.

1) please let us know the height and the bust size of the doll as well as the brand and the model, we can tailor-make one

2) yes it can, please let us know the spec of your doll

3) clothes are not stain-proof, we ask the customers wash the outfits twice before put it on the doll. For the wigs, we rarely heard that it would stain the doll but if you have such concern we recommend you can try those premium wigs for real woman use
