First off, I think your sculpts are very nice - as far as the asian spinner goes, I love the idea, and there are some hits and misses in your iterations - I totally agree with your assessment about lack of happiness - the one thing that looked off to me was just the expression of her face - eyes are nice, lips looked good (maybe a bit more pouty or pursed?) - the April Sculpt looks gorgeous and shows more ...personality? Anyway, hope you continue with the asian face - keep up the excellent work.

You nailed that.
This version never had that spark.
I want each face to have a “life” inside.
She’s getting a complete make over.

Just wondering - would you ever consider doing a custom face for your spinner doll range ie a once-off for a client?

Hey! Yes, generally, i’d Be happy to sculpt a custom face.
It’s always a fun challenge.

Throughout the week I found some time to re-work this face. She’s completely different now... and i’m Pleased.
This is for the Spinner.

BEAUTIFUL Pat! so is that still off the pic? will she still get the eyeliner accents on the ends of her eyes and lining the bottom of her eyes too and the purple eye shadow on the top and bottom of her eyes. the face is much closer now just needs the eyeliner and purple eye shadow and BINGO! how do you craft such beauty Pat?

Thanks... i’ll Hold off on the extra make-up till we cast her in silicone.
I think she fits in with the spinner faces...just the right size/ age/ cuteness
It took a while for me to get the proper look set in my head. Certain Asian features needed to be present, and in a lovely way. I love finishing a new face. I’ll certainly work on her more this weekend...but, no dramatic changes. Thanks again!

looks amazing Pat. somthe eye liner and eye shadow will complete her later and she will look just as sexy as the original pic of that sexy asian girl. The way she has it on her in the pic really accentuates her face and cuteness. Its incredible how you created such a likeness and how real she looks already. unreal my friend.
