There have been a ton of dolls and models that look like celebrities, they dont advertise it that way.

No one really cares much about a few purchases anyway here, really want to have problems, name it after the character in star wars, dress her up like that and post it to major sites. Then you will see the cease and desist letter.

If I made dolls, I'd like to call the doll bodies by letter: A, B, C, etc and the heads by numeral. That would leave the naming up to the doll buyer to use their own imagination on who she it. But I know Doll C5 doesn't sell as well as Sexy Serena!
Going downtown. Gonna see my gal. Gonna sing her a song. I'm gonna show her my ding dong! C&C

Hi,
Naming a face does not necessarily help sales. It does, however, personalize the sculpt.
These are not numbered files, they are personalities.
If you would prefer to order facec# 347... okay.
But our collectors invariably give their dolls their own name upon arrival.
We always used our body names to help describe the doll. It also lends itself to the fantasy.
Personally, that’s just my style and preference.
Buying body 17 with face 428 ? No.
But, it really doesn’t make much difference in the big picture. Soon, all dolls will be bought from big grey factories.
Oddly , this particular face, will have to go un-named. How ironic.
Patrick

Big grey factories may feed the masses, but there will always be a need for high quality and custom work.
