Patrick,

When you sculpt, do you use an oil or water based clay ?
Also do you cast using alginate or a plaster cast ?

I do practical effects, and was just kind of curious what you have found works best in the process.

Don't know what celeb she's suppose to look like but in the mouth area she reminds me of Angelina Jolie

Thanks a million.
This face has just been really fun.
Roboboy...that’s great news. I’ll revisit those eyes.
The kind words are heartening. We’re just doing our thing. Trying to offer something unique.
It only took a week, and 35 yrs. to create this! Ha!

I use polymer clays or plasticine. Sometimes paperclay. Depends on the project. Our molds are epoxy or a combination of silicone and epoxy shell.
We’ve used alginate for years, but not much lately. Instead of using body casts, I’ve taken to even sculpting hands and feet. We’ll be making a foam mold today if the rain holds off!
We’e really grateful for this supportive community.
Cheers, Patrick

Wow, that last pic is great. I think when we see it in silicone, with makeup and the right wig that it will soften her a bit and you are going to be very, very close. I hope the Mad Queen will be pleased.

So odd..
this morning she was gone... I put some new eyes in and really had to do some juggling to bring her back.
But, she’s back...I think tomorrow will be my last tweeking.
We have fantastic eyes for her on order and an amazing hand made wig.
But for now, i’m glad she’s back.

Awesome Patrick!

She was looking great the other day... but...

WOW... Good call on these new eyes! Larger size right?

This petite faced lady has some BIG eyes... and close together...

And these larger eyes make her proportions and spacing look Perfect now too!!!

YES INDEED... You have nailed another order from me! :D

Will have ladies from two of my favorite series... :multi:
Star Wars AND Game of Thrones...

WAY Too Cool...!!!
