A First...PIB in TPE...new Spinner

Post by toonist »

Well,
I have awesome news. I made a trip to China last summer and worked in a factory there to create one of our dolls in TPE.
The mold is made and the first casting is here!!!!

I chose our Spinner 2.0.
She can now stand...and is half the price of our silicone version! ($1800)...45 lbs!!!

So, you can choose silicone...or TPE. I love the way she can pose.
I don't think this has been done before...I believe this is a first. It was a blast going over there. Everyone was super nice and I got to stay in very luxurious hotels. I worked with the people in the mold rooms, with the ladies who paint the colors, with the skeleton makers...the skeleton placers...their sculptors.
Here are some pics I just took...she was just out of the box and I didn't change a thing.
We're still working out production times, but I believe that we can have dolls ready in a couple weeks. Soon I will have them in stock here and will be able to ship next day. That is the future plan. I'm sure you will have a lots of questions, but, I am going out to celebrate. This has been a long journey.
Thanks for coming along for the ride...
Patrick

WOW! Congratulations Patrick and team!
OK so questions: How soft? What boob options (softness) are there? How bad/easy will she stain? Does her face distort during oral? Most important question : Do you need a tester?

WELL DONE! Clearly you took my advice seriously and it's great to see.

A PIB in TPE would be really awesome.

Best wishes

Harem, back before this ever entered my mind, I enjoyed our long conversations and your insight.
Seeing you pose your dolls out by the beach in Nice really got me headed in this direction. It has been a long road.
I really appreciate your kind and helpful words, always.

Thanks. Just remember to release just this one sculpture at the moment until that business relationship in China develops and you know that you can trust them. If it's successful, watch out for the fakes. If no fakes appear within a timeframe, then it will be a safe indication to release another of your sculptures through the same factory.

People here won't be expecting to be looking at PIB for a TPE production and I'd sound out management if you might have a PIBTPE corner in the Chinese arena.

With TPE dolls the questions that will be asked are about the skeleton
- is the neck hinged or gooseneck skeleton?
- do you have access to the new skeleton design with shrugging shoulders and a lateral back hinge?
- are the wrists hinged or are they flexing on wires?
- are the ankle joints tight enough for her to stand and balance by herself?
- are the private parts positioned as well you know how but Chinese manufacturers seem not to understand?
- what is her weight?

If you can get a sample of one of these ladies in a standing version and standing balanced by herself, even you will be stunned at the result and photographing her will market your silicone versions as well as your TPE production.

Now the figure of a bathing beauty inspired by the Bo Derek idiom
Image
possibly with some photos you might not have seen viewtopic.php?p=1222118#p1222118 I believe would put you in the forefront of popularity.

Whilst as sexdolls your silicone dolls move as if alive, could you start importing the skeleton from China to incorporate into your Bathing Beauty so as to create a fully posable model?

In my opinion a skeleton that enables a doll to get out of bed and to come alive simply becomes over-awing, and use of the Chinese standing skeleton would put your silicone dolls ahead of Abyss, which can't stand. For me the enforced use of contraptions and paraphernalia to take a standing photo which then has to be photoshopped out has been the deciding factor in my looking towards Chinese dolls. With this TPE production you are on a threshold of a new dimension opening to you.

I would suggest teaming up with a vendor such as Miracle at Dolls-Castle to handle export from China, which will open up the worldwide market to you without double handling and double import duties into USA and thence onto another destination country.

Best wishes

Harem

Fantastic? A revelation I say. I'm only 35 minutes from PIB. I must visit sometime.

Yes, she is the same sculpt. They have their mold and we have ours...same body. The only thing that is changed in appearance is the bit at the back of the head/neck. They have a different method of attaching the head, so they add some material , which gets covered by the wig.

I was out painting the town tonight.
Thanks everyone for your positive response.
Several doll manufacturers in China have come up with unique skeletons. This is the basic Chinese skeleton.
She can easily stand or kneel on her own.
Alleluia!
I made sure the neck was reinforced while I was at the factory.
And the hands work well. The back has a nice sexy arch. She is wonderfully soft with only a minor scent out of the box. It quickly fades.
I made sure her parts were in the right place! I'll have to post some pics. She has a removable insert , but can readily be used without it.

This is just the start.
You can see from the photos that she can do amazing things...standing on one foot, etc.
Very happy about that.
I remember reading posts from people saying...if only she could stand...or, I wish I could pose her a certain way...now you can!
While silicone and TPE are worlds apart in feel...they each have their own positives.
We are now giving folks the opportunity to have a PIB at TPE prices. The ultimate entry level doll.
The doll world is changing, and we are changing with it.
Here are a couple pics from my China trip....

Magnificent!

In addition to the beautiful faces that you have made so far for the Spinner doll, I wonder if she will have the regular M16 head connector to enable us to use other Jinsan faces? I know that the new spinner will only be 135cm so the full size heads will be a bit large on her but I was wondering if this was possible as I already have 23 different TPE Jinsan/CLM faces so it would be wonderful to be able to interchange the other heads onto your beautiful spinner in addition to your beautiful faces.
