All new Kimber's now come with standing feet. I've had mine now for about a month, and she's been standing in my living room all that time with no damage. Actually, that's not strictly true, my wooden floor took a beating, so I'd suggest getting some rubber or EPDM caps to cover the screws that protrude at the bottom of her feet if you're not gonna have her in shoes. Get one's with an internal diameter or 9.5mm and they should fit snuggly over the screws. Plenty on eBay or amazon.
Anyway, it's been a busy few weeks so I've only just had the chance to take her out for a shoot this past weekend. In hindsight, camping over night in Scotland especially in November wasn't one of my better ideas...cold doesn't even come close!
That said, I'd set my mind on doing a 'hunting' shoot with Kimber and had been putting together her outfit and kit for the past few weeks so I didn't want to wait any longer. Despite the cold, it was worth the effort, and I'm happy with the results. With her standing feet, she really comes to life and I'm delighted with her new look. I normally go for blondes, but she certainly rocks her new look with darker hair and green/hazel eyes.
Anyway, enough chat, here's Kimber on a hunting trip on the shores of Loch Lomond. We arrived Saturday afternoon and had a couple of hours to shoot before the sun went down...
