Foam dolls..

Foam dolls.. I have posted this here as most of us in this section handle lighter weight dolls. Has anyone here ever had one, what are the positives and negatives. And why are they in such limited supply considering that there is a demand for lighter dolls also.

I would have thought that they would be ideal for a 'chubbier' doll. DS Ex Lite had a short run with them not too long ago and the SeeDree doll seems to be hard to obtain it also comes at a hefty price.

What is the lifespan of one of these dolls are they durable.

I will be back with the inflatables hopefully soon, unfortunately my home was flooded over Christmas and I am still having repairs done.

I still have all my Candy18 foam dolls from 2012. Most are still in pretty good shape, but the company has been out of business for a few years now.

I have had a Candy 18, a SeeDree, a Textile Doll and an Ex-Lite. I really didn’t care for any of them and sold them. The Ex-Lite had hard foam but was the most realistic and especially after I adapted a WM 200 head to her. I still regret selling her. I’m hopeful that they come out with a high quality foam doll in the future with a soft latex skin and with a removable head someday. I’ve tried every kind of love doll, sell them and always go back to my beautiful Kimmi who is the joy and lover in my life.

I made my own and I like it. It's sturdy, yet lightweight. Fun to snuggle with, easy to move and carry.

Wow, your quite talented are you good at sewing. My GF used to have some oversized Japanese plushies like Pikachu she used to cuddle.

I had a giant Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh and Pikachu back in the day.
