Uploads are allowed, you just needed full membership with your 5th approved post and now restrictions are lifted, including adding attachments to posts.

Then use the youtube button to post it here.
It will be much easier for everyone to view that way.

Good point. Many people won't want to download 45 megs.MannequinFan wrote:Hey Roadrover, I would recommend uploading to YouTube first for a video that size.

Re: Handy Girl!
Just wanted to share what I've done with a surprisingly small amount of effort. The video is about 6 months old, and since then I've added more features to the software (like saving/restoring "snapshots" and the ability to have the snapshots change randomly), plus more streamlining/disguising/hiding of the mechanism. (fixed the broken finger wires too )
Believe me, it's a treat. Cost is under $100 and a little handy-work.
A few notes:
1. I'm interacting with the software using keystrokes, i. e. space-bar is for start/stop. The keyboard is much better than using the mouse, like using a TV remote. That's why you don't see the mouse involved.
2. From 0:48 to 1:08 I'm changing the speed.
3. From 1:10 to 1:30 I'm changing the depth (length of stroke).
4. From 1:35 to 2:00 I'm changing the "baseline" (center point higher/lower)
5. After that I just mess with speed & depth a little, and then stop.
I don't mean to break any rules here in case this is out of line -- no harm intended.
