Easy DIY Doll Stand

Post by witchick »

Image
Here's a quick three and a half minuet video I made for anyone else looking for a way to get their doll to stand for pic posing
Like I said, this was a quickie, I will be making a "green-screen sleeve for the post and I'll probably just use a matching paint for the round base that way the stand can be easily edited out.
I hope this video was helpful. Thanks for watching

Very nice! Looks very high quality. Is there a weight limit on it?

Considering that the original post was from Sat Oct 03, 2020 and the OP has not been on TDF since Fri Jan 29, 2021, it looks like he has moved on.

The design looks pretty simple and like some other stands that have been posted here on TDF.
A wide wooden base with an upright pipe offset in the back portion for stability.
From the flange on the base it is probably easily available plumbing pipe that was used for the upright.

The back is hidden but would have some soft of padding to protect the doll.
Add a Velcro, elastic or other type of strap near the top to reduce tip over and you are good to go.

Just a different method for the common three point stance used by to safely stand dolls.

Just my two cents.
Cheers!
