Whatever Happened to Sate?

Post by HanChiusMan »

I have been away from TDF for a few months (family crisis).

TDF now says Member doesn't exist when I clicked on his name in my mailbox.
I bought 2 Crude Plush dolls from him; he was talented and improving, although my last communication with him found him sounding disenchanted and distant.

Unfortunate.

I recently bought a Textile Doll (which I love!) and offered to photograph it, in great detail, for him, as an aid in expanding his Modification vendor business. He worked on Teddy Babes, but he might have been able to do similar with Textile Dolls.
He demurred, wanting me to either send Roxanne to him to inspect or was uninterested. I wasn't going to send her because, a) it would be expensive, and b) I didn't want to be away from her.

Now I am glad I never sent her!
Not that he'd keep her, but maybe his disenchantment was due to mental/emotional issues, returning her might have become low priority, etc...

Where's Sate?

He will be missed. I'm sure he would not have kept your doll. Especially since he said he was done with dolls.

It is sad to hear that he got burned out on dolls.

Yeah lot of speculation here. I bought a doll from him as well, and he did say he wasn't going to be making dolls anymore. That's about it. There is no way of knowing why he chose to opt out of making dolls, or if he was burned out, or what. Could be a million things. I would like to have him back, I think he was making real progress and would have probably bought more dolls from him over time.

He was posting in his "JM 105cm Silicone Sorceress Doll - Photo / Video Thread" just yesterday.
