Hi Everyone,

I received mine a couple months ago, but have been out of town. Just wanted to pass along how great the design and functionality of the MF headstand is. If you are in the market, this is very universal. If you pair it with Indigo's magnetic system for your doll's head there is added ease for head removal from the doll's body and the headstand. Very useful for applying makeup with 360 degree rotation.

Great design Mannequin Fan.

Here's a few pictures of the stand with a WM 188 head.

Something new for 2018...
With the arrival of my new larger printer I'm taking a look at doing a 2 piece printed base for the head stand.
It would be printed in a black ABS and left unpainted. The Makergeek black ABS has a nice semi matte finish that should look pretty cool just as it is I think.
Neck would be painted the tan color as usual.
The last few times good quality wood bases have been in short supply at Hobby Lobby so this would also eliminate reliance on that supplier.

Unless they've changed the neck design, I'm pretty sure YL uses the same typical m16 bolt, so it should work.
It also works with the Indigo magnetic head connectors.

I have a YL doll head and it does use the M16 bolt, the same as on WM.

Hey everyone, sorry for my absence here lately.
There's been a lot going on and I have some big news to share!

Today I am excited to announce that starting this month all of my doll accessories including the Head Stands will be available through BCD (Booty Call Dolls) here...
viewtopic.php?f=267&t=100373

This is basically a repository of all the accessory items I've been working on over the last few years all in one place.
Instead of having a waiting list, these items will be pre-made. Of course I won't be able to have things available all the time, so you'll just need to check back occasionally, or better yet subscribe to the thread so you are notified when something is added. The sale panel images for each item will update to show when something is available for purchase.

I want to give a HUGE thanks to Jeff at BCD for taking his valuable time in making this happen. He is a great guy to work with, so if any of you are looking for an excellent vendor for your next doll purchase, please give him some love! :)

I don't have any head stands available at the moment but I should be adding a few soon.
Just keep an eye out on the sale page for updates.

Well, I finally got a little time to finish the V3 stand prototype over the weekend.
I'm very happy with how it came out!
The 2 piece 3d printed base is filled with a non-shrink grout (Rapid Set CementAll) to give rigidity and weight.

I changed the design a little so the grout runs under the foot pads to lock it in place.
Base weighs about 2 pounds by itself so it's extremely stable.

Nice design Mannequin Man. I need two head stands, since I'm tired of worrying about my heads rolling around too. You use a 3D printer and I'm a woodworker, so, I intend to make a wooden base and bolt holder.

If you could be kind enough to direct me to a place to buy the big bolts, that would be a great help.

Thanks.
If you are just needing bolts, you might find some at the big box stores but limited number of lengths available.
Online places like McMaster Carr have full selection. You'll want the M16 x 2.0 thread...
