MannequinFan Has Done it Again!!
1) the screws tear up socks and cause runs in expensive hosiery, ruining them in as little as one wearing
2) the screws damage the dolls' shoes
3) on hard, smooth surfaces, the screws can slip if the doll is barefoot, potentially causing a fall
4) it is sometimes difficult to get the doll stable on carpet while barefoot, due to the screws having to settle in to the carpet completely
MannequinFan has 3D printed a set of screw covers for Sanae, and she loves them! The caps are easy to install, they just pop on with thumb pressure, and can be removed by lifting up on one side, popping them off again.
Sanae has been wearing the caps with socks and I have stood her up many times with no damage to the socks. This is a product that was needed for my doll and any other dolls with the same problems. Thanks, MannequinFan!

Re: MannequinFan Has Done it Again!!
Thanks very much Coffee for your kind words and for bringing this problem to light.
Coffee sent me the design - I just tweaked it a bit to optimize for 3d printing with ABS.
I'm very glad to see it's helping and that Sanae is pleased with them!
One note - It appears that some dolls use M6 screws and others use larger M8 screws in the feet.
I'm not sure if it's just different factories or determined by different doll sizes/weights, so you'll need to verify the screw size used in your doll.
The M6 screw heads are around 10mm diam. or slightly less, and the M8 is around 14mm or slightly less.

Very good idea. I would definitely buy a set - my 100 arrives next week and I'll measure.

Re: MannequinFan Has Done it Again!!
Coffee and I are still working on testing these.
We needed to make one refinement in the design as the spring clip was a bit too fragile in the first go around.
They are now a two piece print which allows the spring clip to be printed on it's side as shown at left.
This will orient the layered plastic strands in the strongest direction... The clips are then welded to the caps with ABS/acetone slurry... Coffee should be receiving this revised set early next week so we'll see how it goes.

Do you share the stl or step file for this?
Would save me and others some work for creating CAD data
