Dowel size (wooden/metal) compared to M16 bolt?

Post by MourningWood »

M16 bolts can get fricken pricey, figured I could use a dowel and glue on my head stands instead.

Anyone know which dowel size is similar to the diameter of a M16 bolt?

Try using dowel with diameter of 15 mm. If the head feels a bit loose when inserted into the dowel, enlarge the dowel with some tape. Also, the longer the dowel, the less weight it can support as a doll head is pretty heavy.
