Resources for Learning Artificial Intelligence

Post by sirachasauce86 »

Ever since I saw Realbotix make Harmony I've been having in the back of my mind thoughts of how it would be neat to learn artificial intelligence and create my own sex robot as well as other robots to help out with chores in the future. What I wanted to know if there were sources one would begin to learn then take it from there.
What is more useful, a key that opens many locks, or a lock that is opened by many keys?

Are you talking about how to actually create and/ or install the mechanics of AI in a doll OR
how to develop a AI persona on a computer, build it's language skills, etc.
Going downtown. Gonna see my gal. Gonna sing her a song. I'm gonna show her my ding dong! C&C

Create the AI and install the mechanics in a doll.

YOUTUBE.
The language part of AI will probably be the easy phase.
There are a lot of vids on youtube on animatronics. Somewhere there is like a 15 vid tutorial on how a guy made a animatronic creature mask.
Most animatronics use latex though. Silicone will work.
You can use a mannequin head as your base model unless you want to sculpt from scratch.
Do you have the artistic and mechanical skills, workshop and tools?

I am far from an artist and mechanic but it wouldn't hurt I guess to look up videos of those on youtube. If there are, what's a good channel? I was thinking if I were to create a doll it would be 3D Printed. I remember someone posted an article on a forum that many were going to start printing their own dolls.

sirachasauce86:

I am learning Python, exploring advances in AI, and I'm also examing the state of the art of 3D printing.

Two Words, "Smart Dust".

IMHO:

We can 3D print Android Love Dolls within 10 years.

However, it will take the 'Project Apollo' of Love Dolls to do it.

My own contribution so far: Current 30 Mpa air tanks (10L) can supply enough power to lift a 25kg Love Android 1 km. That's approximately 250 kJ of energy.

There will be sex robots in the quite near future, but they won't be doing any household chores. There will be separate ugly robots for that stuff :)
