Basically, you remove the foot screw, put the screw through a base, screw it in, then attach the cap. They come in black, white, and ivory. The only downside is that you cannot adjust the screws without removing the cap first, which is easily enough to do.

This is a very valuable idea, thanks! I made quite a few scratches on the floor everywhere with those foot screws. I wish manufacturers installed those caps themselves, it'd make a lot of sense.
Yes they also have those in rubber as well as plastic. The pressure of the weight of the doll , will still put a hole in nylons.
great to keep the hard wood floors scratch free.
