Tessa and her Montesa

Tessa is a Breyer Nadia 1/9th scale horse rider doll. I bought her to go with my Protar 1/9 scale Montesa Cota 247 trials bike, which is an engineering masterpiece from the late 1960s (contemporary with the real thing).

While Tessa is a pose-able doll, Dawn is a solid statuette (she came as a kit of 11 parts). Dawn's bike is an Italeri 1/9 scale Triumph 3HW of World War 2.
Although both girls are the same scale, Tessa's head is a bit large while Dawn's head is a bit small.
It is raining this weekend, so I have postponed Tessa's first ride on her new bike. Stay tuned.

I would never have guessed from your name/handle! As it happens, my new mountain bike (new in February) -- a Nukeproof Scout -- came with Hans Dampf tyres. They are perfectly good, but I put a slightly fatter one on the back (a Nobby Nic 2.8") and a slightly thinner one (a 2.3" Magic Mary) on the front. Ironically, the latter is the knobbier of the two. (I am sure Nobby Nic and Magic Mary are also porn stars...)
Meanwhile, Tessa is looking forward to her first ride on her new bike:

It is too cold outside now. So...

You might be able to discern the thin thread I used to get Tessa to adopt a trials riding pose rather than her natural horse riding pose. Also evident is the reshaping of the handlebar I found necessary.

I LOVE this! Great images and I dig the girls and their bikes.
Sort of makes me wish I had kept my early '70s Honda Postie. I would love to see one of my gals on it...

When you are so small, only a light covering of snow is a big deal!
