I'll join the conversation. I can't remember how much it she cost but once I saw this Misato Katsuragi, had to have it. I'll post more later... Most will be new in box though.

Nice collection! I like Figma figures a lot, I own a bunch of them, mostly different versions of Miku. I used to buy Revoltech before (due to the Queen’s Blade series, now discontonued) but they are not as good as any Figma. They had removable clothes though, they were the cheapest articulated figure to feature that and still look good.

Morning all,

Didn't know I was the only one who collected these types of figures, although I'm relatively new to Figma as well since I only started collecting this year. I'm hoping to jump in properly and start buying the newest figures that really catche my attention.

That aside today's Figma is the latest Racing Miku figure for the past year, the 2017 Fairy version. This figure comes with the standard umbrella accessory along with the unique fairy wings and custom race uniform with flower motifs. As usual the costume is covered by well placed and detailed racing decals, along with brighter styled hair that gives her a more ethereal appearance to compliment the more vibrant blue eyes. It's a fine figure to add to your collection even if you're not a Hatsune Miku fan.

They are cute but to small. I did try a few, way to delicate to use over and over again in pictures. They just fell a part.

The joints on all Figma figures are one downside to them, the small size means they use a simple hinge system on a soft plastic joint piece, which you can imagine tends to wear out after a long while of posing. A healthy supply of general replacement joints will keep the figures going for a long while, though they aren't indestructible.

Like anything including our big dolls, some maintenance down the line is something to be prepared for even sophisticated toys. If they break, I can fix them, or I can learn to and still have fun posing hopefully years to come.

Morning all,

Today's Figma is the elder heroine of Sekirara, Izumi. Sporting blue (maybe purple? I don't know...) long hair with purple eyes, this is one of a few figures I purchased mainly for overall presentation rather than from coming from a work that I already knew about. All photos of this one have not been altered in any way, and were taken using an LG Tracfone.

The design of the figure and character reminds me of older shows like Tenchi Muyo and Rurouni Kenshin, both of which I watched growing up. I like shows that have slice of life and comedy themes since they take away from how shitty reality can sometimes be, although I also do like shows about traveling in space and adventuring. A figure like this reminds me of my youth, and again reinforces how much I like collecting things as an adult since I didn't have the chance to do it as a kid.

Today's Figma is the cold hearted Cryska Barchenowa from Muv Luv Total Eclipse. A Russian TSF pilot with a light mind reading ability, she comes in wearing her silvered blue UN pilot outfit and armed with a Makarov pistol.

The hole in the back of each figure is used for attaching the stand or heavy accessories depending on what the figure comes with. I don't like using them for photos, but for leaving them posed on a table or dresser they do their job well.

Today's Figma is the female knight Lucina from Fire Emblem. She comes in wearing her standard combat set and blade; there is a wealth of detail in every angle making this one the better of the Fire Emblem Figma figures available.

Today's Figma is Irisviel von Einzbern from the Fate/Stay series. As in many anime works her white hair with red eyes look is a classic combo, which has been brought very well into figure form thanks to Figma's attention to small details and sculpt.

Afternoon all,

Today's Figma is a brand new release for March 2018, and the first new figure I've gotten to purchase in the month of its release since I started collecting.

This time it's Jeanne d'Arc from Fate / Grand Order in her signature Ruler outfit. The figure is a deluxe version that comes with large accessories and is packed with detail, from light wrinkling in the gathered bust section to a dual joint in the braided ponytail. Gleaming silver armor pieces add even more appeal to this well crafted figure.
