Sil-proxy and TPE
Need some advice. I recently got a new TPE doll and was wondering if some preventative maintenance would work. It seems the vagina and anal cavities tear over time and wondering I feel putting a light glaze of sil-proxy around the cavaties and a little on the inside would keep it from tearing or at least make it more durable? Kindly advise if this would work or another's method for maintaining a tear free situation
Thanks all!!

It has carbons and hydrogens and its structure is made of polymers.
In addition, TPE is hydrogenated, which means, it has more hydrogens.
(TPR is dehydrated = less hydrogens)
Silicone is unique in the world of synthetics.
It is inorganic / organic.
Its inorganic structure is of silicon and the connection between is made with organic methyl groups.
That is the reason why hardened silicon can not be completely liquified with solvents or heat.
You can only liquify the organic components for "cross-linking".
That is the reason why
- it is possible, that the inorganic part of silicone is able to cause a reaction with TPE and therewith TPE starts to change its shape
- you are never able to weld or cross-link TPE with silicone
Little tip at the end:

Hey Indigo, what are thoughts on the use of flowable silicone windshield sealant to repair TPE as some are now doing or at least attempting to do?Indigo20 wrote:That is the reason why

This is something I've asked Samara about. I'll let her comment on it.

You can't pit it down there. It is only good for permanant makeup on the face.workallday wrote:Guys,

The only silicone that may melt tpe is 2 part silicone.
It won't work in your case because you will need to oil the dolls cavity. Silicone and oil don't mix. You could try parmatex. Prep the area to be applied with iso rubbing alcohol before applying the permatex. Silpoxy is too hard for what you intend, it will rub you raw.
