I've had the Permatex on one of my TPE heads for a couple of years now as a lip gloss over eye shadow makeup and it still looks good.
Works very well for that purpose. What's nice is you can also add a small amount of acrylic paint to the the Permatex to color it.

I did a test with the Permatex as an adhesive similar to what Indigo did a while back, and I concur with his results for the most part. However in my test I cleaned both surfaces with acetone.
In my test the parts didn't initially peel apart as easily as shown in Indigo's test. Eventually they did come apart though. I think the oils in the TPE eventually will weaken the bond. It's definitely just a semi permanent solution at best.

It looks like what Indigo has now is a fantastic solution. :D

I wonder if this stuff has multiple uses?

Like getting rid of friction spots or gluing finger nails to the finger beds?

When this is available I'm definitely going to buy some for a hole poke on the right side of my dolls wrist. ;)

Brah, seeing this i might go back to tpe dolls again. My biggest issue (and still is) is doing repairs.

It is nothing really new, they've been making adhesives from the base material(s) for years.
I've done this with no problem.
Just raw SEBS TPE granules dissolved in a solvent of your choice and used as a glue.
