I received the cold welding adhesive some time ago.

I applied it in about 4 passes IIRC, because the cut was about inch or more. Look at page 5 to see the before pic.

Just got mine last week, I bought the larger bottle, as had 4 gals in need of attention, and this stuff is da bomb.

Was going to do pics, but once you get started you need both hands to hold the repair closed for a few minutes while you get all the other tricks (Positioning, belts, tapes, ropes, stands) in place to keep the repair closed for the cure time, so if you got a pal that can help with an extra set of hands, this would be extremely simple. This is critical, as the repairs must be made in a position where the repair is closed and not open, or it will fail and may enlarge the fissure, so ensure there is no tension on the repair, that would pull it apart during the application and bonding.

I had no problems, and did many repairs, ALL, with the wounds closed as best possible, and then ensuring I held the wound closed for five minutes, before trusting the tension belts and tapes to keep then closed.

Preparation and having everything ready to go is the key, and not rushing the larger repairs, but doing in stages.

So yes, its pricey, but yes, it works fantastically on TPE gals from the JY, and Jinsan lines (the two factories that make the doll labels I repaired).
