found a foam cleaning wand, for cleaning orifices

Post by somethingrandom »

I found this on clearance at a HomeSense. Looks like it'll be perfect for cleaning doll holes.
This is just a random pic I found online, but its the exact product I bought.

Here's a quote of a blurb on the back:
Our soft yet high tensile foam brush, under normal usage, will last 10 times longer than the best brush and 20 times longer than the best sponge. The foam, of a special formula composition, does not absorb water and does not become soggy, limp and dead.
I won't be using these for "normal usage" so the beginning brag is kind of meaningless, but the latter half sounds promising. The foam is soft yet firm and not abrasive at all. I really think they are going to be ideal. It's kind of hard to see in the picture but the first brush is a long loop of the foam material, and the second one is long, completely flexible strip of it and the third one is a spherical ball of the material. (Though to be honest, the round one on the end is probably to big to be useful on a doll.)

Sticking any sharp or semi sharp protuberances inside a TPE Doll is a recipe for tearing and I would not recommend... the damage done could be internal and you would not be able to see it until the damage is done. The sharpest thing inserted into a TPE doll should be no sharper than you know what!

There's nothing sharp. It's just little squares of soft foam.
