Removing the head on a seamless torso?
I asked the factory if they could cut it off after the production but they said that they cannot, so I will have to do this at home. Do you guys have any suggestions? I would highly appreciate it.

Anyhow that's an unfortunate situation about the head. I wouldn't want to try it..
Maybe you can find another way to address your wife's concerns.. good luck.

Thats for sure. It'll be ruin either way.Dollfriend wrote:There are so many headless Torso Dolls out there of various Price and Quality, ruining an intact doll seems like such a waste...

Re: Removing the head on a seamless torso?
This seems to be the most sensible suggestion ... Although if I were married and my wife wanted me to have a headless doll, I'd make her cut the head off, to see if she could bring herself to do it. The irony of the situation might prevent her from carrying out the beheading. If she humanised the head so much that it offended her, then its humanity might still prevent her from doing it.Maviarab wrote:Surely it would be simpler (and cheaper for you) to sell an intact Piper doll and then buy a torso your wife finds acceptable? I hate to say this...but not many are going sympathise with you cutting off the head of a Piper...
If she could cut it off because "it's not human enough," I'd ask then why it offends her so much, since it doesn't seem real.
