Three little words:
Don't Do It.

Here are the standard accepted practices for those new to TPE repair and the safe use of "TPE Glue"

1)Make sure lid is on tight.
2)Open cupboard and place "TPE Glue" all the way to the back.
3)Place lots of other items in front of "TPE Glue".
4)Close cupboard door and forget you own any.

"TPE Glue" is NOT a glue. It is a VERY strong solvent that if used on deep or stressed TPE tears will make that tear 10x worse. Read up on TPE repairs using other methods like heat (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=101220) and Indigo's "Cold Weld" (viewtopic.php?f=227&t=112678&hilit=indigo+cold).

I agree completely with Romantic. It is pretty hard to find a use for TPE glue that can't be done better with heat or cold weld.

I would add this though, having had some recent experience with cold-weld. While it works much better than the TPE glue (and I do recommend it), it does share some properties with the glue and can cause similar issues. I had a cut that got a little worse in one area using cold-weld. It was my own fault, to be sure. But, my point is, whichever method you end up using, make sure you read up as much as you can on HOW to do it. And practice on an inconspicous area first.

Better yet before doing anything, order a test sample of TPE from any vendor and work on that first until you are comfortable with working on your lady.

The traditional TPE "glue" you'll get from manufacturers and most vendors is indeed shit. It works for minor damages, in areas that don't stretch much. Clean the surface first, then use a toothpick or something to apply very little along the hole/tear, immediately close it and keep it closed for a couple of minutes. It melts the TPE together, so using just slightly too much will just make the damage worse. So if you got some for your doll already then that is the only case it is useful for.

For bigger types of damage it is however useless. For that use the Indigo cold weld stuff that was recommended above.
