Secret to removing discoloration on TPE

Post by jiggerjaw »

Dunno if this is common knowledge or not... I just found out when cleaning up my doll to sell it. If there's any light discolorations, you can rub it with a paper towel really hard/fast (building up some friction) and the outer layer of TPE kind of "melts" off, balls up, and can be picked off.

Cheers!

Are you talking about little black balls of goo?
If yes, then it is a normal occurrence when she is dirty and you are cleaning her with baby oil (or other cleaning products)

Your best stain remover is Arm and Hammers Peroxicare Toothpaste... wipe it on and let it sit for several hours to a day depending upon who bad the stain is. This is a safe way to clear stains without any harsh chemicals.

I really don't think you should rub her really hard and fast that seems more damaging than just treating the area where the stain is with toothpaste like Dollarhyde said
