Aiko/Ren Body #4 Broken hip !

Post by rentell »

So lets rip lovely little Ren apart and see whats gone wrong this time. 8O

Not a pretty sight for the faint of heart .

An even bigger knife this time..............she has nice fat thighs so lots to slice into !

Theres some photos of the broken joint if you click the pic.
The glue did not hold just as in body#2's broken hip, exactly the same break.

I will mail Abyss and see if I can get some replacement parts.

8O Rentell, by the pics, it looks like Ren is slowly falling apart

Good luck with the repairs, it looks like you are really gaining experience :?

This is really bad news (again). If I am not mistaken, these are newer dolls. Only a year old? Yikes!

Update September 2007: I have just heard that another Realdoll, made in late 2005, has just suffered a broken back. The owner wants to remain anonymous for now while he seeks advice from Abyss (and from me).

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I've been reading with fascination about the troubles other members have had with their dolls and trying to get a sense of who makes the best dolls for the long term with the least time spent repairing her. 8O

With that in mind, my question is, what was wrong with the hips of these dolls that caused the problem? How did it happen? The gallery links provided are all broken now. :(

Thank you for your time, and if there are longer threads talking about a wider range of doll problems or some analysis of the problems dolls have, sort of like a Repair Matrix, that would be very helpful to many people to point out, since this seems to be an ongoing problem with many dolls from many makers.

Dang Rentell, I can tell how bummed and pissed you are.

The care and expression in your photos tells me how much you care about aesthetics.

Stupid freaking glue. Man, who chose that design?

I'm hoping this is an '05 doll. It'd be sad to hear this stuff still going on.

AI dolls are stout. I have had no prob after AI sister (and she had a single knee break).
Fall down 7 times, get up 8.
