This is a great tip for a newbie like me. I'm going to try this on my new 140 who has picked up some dark stains. The TPE cleaner didn't come with any kind of instructions so I'm not even sure it's safe to leave it on over night, so I'm gonna try this toothpaste tip. The product mentioned isn't available my side of the world, but do you think any whitening/bleaching toothpaste will do the trick? Thanx!

Deal with the faults of others as gently as your own It is better to stay silent and be thought a fool, than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt

Tried this last night. I rubbed it into the stain for approximately 45 minutes with some but very little success. I then applied a generous amount on the stain and left it sit for about 3.5 hours, After that I wiped it all off, cleaned the area with soap and water and re-did the rubbing method.
The result was a 70% reduction of the stain. I can live with that!
Thanks for posting. :D

PS. the stain was from some red lingerie.

Im using for long time, with great success, benzoyl preoxide (as a paste), usually used for acne treatment. Maximum concentration for inofficial market is 10%. Higher concentration can prescribe your doc. I think the miracle does the combination with these two chemicals - benzoyl is responsible for deep surface penetration, peroxide bleaches. Also the overnight effect is similar. I find this out as a very cheap substitution for original TPE stain remover, with 99% identical result...
Look here

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Perrigo-10-Per ... 2784118681
etc.
The usage is similar to original TPE stain remover:
Clean and dry surface, apply overnight (a bit of massage recomended), clean and dry, powder. If needed, repeat the procedure.
All my dolls have natural skin color. No discoloration.
And also important info: these materials are determined for human usage, mostly face, so no need to bee afraid...

I'll be darned. You know, come to think of it, my mom use to use tooth paste to remove coffee and tea stains from cups.

I would also confirm the the toothpaste brand mentioned, when left for a while on a stain, does help reduce it.

Lettie got some bad stains after I left her on a dark soft leather sofa for a few hours whilst I was out. I applied the toothpaste and left it on overnight and it did reduce the stains, which then faded to nothing after a couple of days.

Another thing I'd endorse is baby oil for removal of make-up. In my case I wanted to remove eyebrow pencil colour I'd used for Lettie's eyebrows as I've bought some eyebrow transfers to try. I tried some of the tootpaste on that, which didn't work - then I tried the expensive purpose designed stain remover I'd bought from a Vendor - surprisingly that didn't work either.

I spotted on another thread someone said baby oil worked to remove make up, I didn't think it would work. BUT, I put some baby oil (cheap supermarket brand) on some toilet tissue and wiped Lettie's eyebrows and the eyebrow pencil stain came straight out, dead easy.

She's all ready for her new eyebrows now - I'll let you know how that goes on the eyebrow thread....

Cheers, VB

A&H toothpaste didn't work well for me. Acne cream overnight kicked some ass though.

Please be patient and repeat the procedure with acne cream twice or more.
Do not forget massage affected areas with the paste.
It does not harm your doll skin, but may a bit discolor areolas etc.
It is not important, what 10% product you use.
Note, do not use highly parfumed creams, or creams with other ingredients.
Bye Fire

My post was a comparison. One foot was treated with acne cream the other A&R toothpaste. Obviously the acne cream did the better job as the side treated with acne cream had the stain all but gone in four hours. Overnight the stain was completely gone. Toothpaste remedy=zero. Acne cream=SCORE!

Yes, I knew that.
Thats why I posted info about 10% benzoyl peroxide, a few posts above.
This helped me many times.
Toothapse is in most cases just waste of time.
