One of my silicone dolls has suffered damage to a but cheek that resulted in a hole. I was wondering what techniques I could use to repair a silicone doll that wouldn't leave major deformation. I have tried repairs in the past that didn't hold and made a mess in the past and was wondering if anyone could help me out.
You say you have tried repairs in the past, but they didn't hold.
Did you clean the area to be repaired with rubbing alcohol then acetone before you made the repair?
This is a must if you want the repair to hold for a long time.
Yes but the area was a high stress area that I tried in the past. I made a mess on the feet and it had some excessive silipoxy that stands out and feels awful if I touch it.
