Anyone ever do skeleton surgery on Luna doll?

I have a luna doll and all the joints have come loose and no longer can hold a pose. One hip join feels like it isn't even connected anymore. Wondering if anyone else has cut into their Luna dolls or similar dolls and can give me their experience. Pictures would be great, especially of the skeleton joints.

How long have you had her for?
Depend's on age how she can be helped.
You may need to cut her open to see whats going on in there. Then i can advise you.

i got her around 3 years ago

Yeah you need a set of allen wrenches and a socket set.

I also repair these dolls and would be delighted to help in any way i can.

Yes, very easy to do. In fact you may be able to tighten without much cutting, but let me just say the joints will loosen again very quickly, so this is not a procedure I would do unless a joint broke. JM dolls loosen up like it's no ones business

It's great to know your Luna has lasted 3 years. I, too, had noticed a definite loosening in my Luna's joints in the first 3 months of owning her, although they are still generally able to hold a pose. Will be interesting to see how they are after a year. Keep us posted on anything you do to keep her healthy.

Watch the video. The joints are all like that hinge thing. I've got spares of those for my repairs. Give JM a shout to get the parts. What often happens if the Allen bolts come loose and the hip dislocates.

i emailed JM and asked for a replacement joint. They never replied and have not seen any joints in the mailbox..How have others got their joints from JM?

Send them a p.m you need to cut her open in the hip area and send photos. Their English isn't good. A picture of the needed parts over p.m then email will yield quick results.
You wouldn't happen to have an extra head for her available for a Luna would you?
Remove the parts and lay them out, take pics then send those.
They won't help unless they know what needs replaced. I could fix her and deal with JM doll if you like. I am in Michigan united states.

I can do it. Let's chat via private message. Will take about 2 weeks to do. You could ask dodgeman or broadfall. Dodge I think only does realdolls though.

Pay shipping a couple hundred bucks and I will fix her for you.
It will take a couple of weeks though.

Just spoke with dodgeman. He is pretty busy. If you are interested it looks like I am your best bet.
She will get tightening all over and a new hip. I can add paint restoration if you like
