Any Proven Alternative for Sil-Proxy Silicone Adhesive?

Hello,

I have no idea why this adhesive costs so much in the UK. Everywhere will charge almost 100% the amount of the item just for shipping a 0.5oz tube.

I would just bight the bullet usually but because I will paying so much for shipping - I am a little to proud to be scammed.

Are there any other proven adhesives?

I need to fix a small tear on a 65cm JM doll. So it's not an uncontrollable huge tear - just one I will fix to prevent any real damage.

Yes it's silicone I am repairing. Just a small tear on the doll (I went a little enthusiastic with testing the complete movement of the doll).

I have purchased that adhesive! Much better and fairly priced.

Anyone know if all (permatex and other brands) silicone adhesives is the same stuff and strength as of the well known sili-poxy brand? For a 0.5 oz of this stuff(sili-poxy) is kind of costly. They all have the same smell of vinegar. . Thanks

The best adhesive IMHO is the Abyss adhesive. It is tougher, more transparent and is easier to work with (longer set time) than
the silpoxy. You should also ask the manufacturers, they would know more than myself as a doll owner.
