Definitive stain removal comparison, toothpaste v acne cream
Soooo, after having read lots of posts about stain removal I decided to use this rather bummer experience as a definitive comparison of which product really removes bleed stains. The Arm and Hammer baking soda with peroxide method has been well known, but my pal Crazy Cajun also told me of using acne cream with benzoyl peroxide as well.
I did a side by side comparison and took pictures over the course of one hour, two hours, three hours, four hours and then overnight.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. You be the judge.
Initial untreated stain Application of products
One hour elapsed time Two hours elapsed time
Three hours elapsed time Four hours elapsed time Overnight

Yeah, I found it impressive too. Black is usually a really tough stain to get out, but the acne cream kicked ass. Actually, by the third/fourth hour the stain was all but gone. A little goes a long way too, so the expense (five bux for the tube) is nominal given how little it takes. The Romantic wrote:Wow! Pretty impressive.

Nope!Looking_for_a_doll wrote:Damn, that acne cream did an excellent job. Would there be any concerns with any of the ingredients potentially degrading the TPE?
Recommended by Crazy Cajun of Miss Atleur Body Products. I would think he's pretty much an expert lol
