Getting yourself in a comfortable position is helpful too.

Rgc/Anung or anyone else who knows the cotton cloth you are using after treatment to restore the skin texture must be dry? or moisturized with eg mineral oil ?

I pre-oil the fabric and use linen cotton fabric, if using the hot tpe method, to avoid grabbing uncured tpe off the top of the repair.

I discussed both techniques in an earlier link, possibly in this topic too.

Being a very slim work area in the groin section. I could not seem to get the texture to work very well. I was trying 600 grit wet/dry sandpaper moistened with mineral oil. I just ended up using corn starch to remove gloss. worked ok. and still looks ok
With cloth, I believe the higher the thread count the better.

i had free time today to smooth the front area.

As a cloth I ve used a cotton glove i ve bought from ebay for 0.7$/pair

i think it is ok.

Tools i ve used.
-Heat gun
-Ball sculptor tool
-A cotton glove as a cloth
- Mineral oil

Probably withstand stretching better now too! Powdering a little will finish up, blending it in even more!

Heat it, nudge it, heat it nudge it. That pink color is from another type TPE, Made a paste from Xylene, it sealed up the vagina so so, Held onto lower part pretty good though, I'll use that to nudge it around, Dipping tool in mineral oil occasionally so tool does not stick to TPE

Taking shape. Of course there is a lot of grubby specks of dirt. On our dolls we gotta keep her super clean. This would be unacceptable on doll all the specks.

This toy has been through the mill. Has helped me a lot with learning about heat and TPE
Could spend a lot of time getting it as nice as possible in shaping.
Used hot air and a sculpting hook blade, it softens, move it around a bit. The tear does hold up to stretching not too bad. I'll wait till it looks better, then test for stretch durability.

A bit more time spent straightening this thing out. For how nasty this was/is it's not turning out too bad. Yeah Eye of beholder

Hello there.

Unfortunately i ve found out recently that only normal shower wash does not clean TPE skin effectively
If you want a super clean doll, after shower put her on bed apply mineral oil on her body and with a cotton cloth -i use one of the gloves that came with the doll- start rubbing gently her skin from neck to toes.
You cannot imagine the dirt will be removed, after you finish the white glove will be dark gray in color but your doll will be super clean.

The dirt that is in this toy is melted right in the TPE.

A previous melting session(s) it had specks of lint and whatever on it, I'd melted them right into it. A perfect reason we want our dolly clean of any foreign matter when using heat. You know full well how sticky this stuff is, esp. after applying heat.
It is amazing the color of cloth when doll is wiped down with mineral oil. You'd think she'd been out on a Safari adventure or something
