Seeing a Real doll for the first time

I've been thinking about saving up for a real doll and moving out of the TPE world;however, since they are so expensive, saving for one RD could take a long time.

Having browsed TDA and TDF I have seen high res pics of a RD, but haven't seen one in person (let alone a silicone doll). I know they look better in person, but I want to see one before my own eyes first before jumping in

I was wondering where i could see one in person first before undertaking the journey of saving? I've been looking at expos mainly but a lot of them are far away. Any recommendations?

Usually, there is an Adult trade show event in Las Vegas each year, in January I believe. You could go see a few realdoll there. My first ever silicone doll was bought from that trade show. I have not gone to that show for a long while.

So the thing is I'm in the Northeast, and RD HQ is in So Cal (all the way across the country). Have considered going to the Vegas show but a little pricey. Are there smaller shows/exhibits or meet ups by any chance?

I know there is a doll get together in the north east every year. I don't know who puts it on or when it is. if you can find out when it is you could swing up there , take a TPE girl with you

I have seen a male RD in person and WOW! He is an older model, but the detail on him is AMAZING!

RD is located in San Marcos, CA as long as you make an appointment they will be happy to give you a tour...

You can check if they still have the realdoll display, if they are close enough to you.

Some local hustler shop used to have one laying around, but they are closed

The only issue though, those physical store usually just have one doll from long time ago, for display purpose.
Trade Show is a lot better, and I think it worth the money spent, because you can touch.

Able to feel the doll before purchase make the decision much safer to make. If cuddle is very important to you, just wrap one arm around the doll's shoulder, you will get how she feels. They usually don't mind you do that.
