Dear Fellow members at TDF & friends of Mannequin Man. this is a friend & companion of MM for many years, & we are informing the Staff & members of TDF of his passing. suffering several years of a traumatic brain injury, MM suffered a fatal seizure the other day, resulting in Pulmonary / Respiratory failure. some of his last wishes were to express his love & appreciation to all of you for following, commenting his creations, work, etc. "Project Victoria" being his pride & joy. He will be buried at Sea as a final request & we will try to create a video / post / memorial in his respect. Mannequin Man was a very talented & creative fellow, & his work may someday be recognized as "ART". we can only hope. anyway, a special thank you goes to his friend ( Robbyd ) & all others who supported him & encouraged him with his creations. many people express themselves in many ways, but TDF was MM's choice, mainly because of the theme, & MOSTLY of the Members that He always stated.....a great group of people ...good people. we are building a video / post / memorial this week / next & will submit that to TDF staff. again, thank you & bless each & everyone of you for Following MM !

He will be missed. I enjoyed following his work.

I knew when Mannequin Man got real quiet on the forum for the last couple of months, it raised a serious concern for me. I was hoping that he was trying to overcome technical problems with his project and was simply trying to re-access his options. I'm sorry that my initial feeling was the correct one. That really is a kick in the gut for me.

The man certainly had a vision and a direction he wanted to go, especially in the field of animatronics/robotics. Every other day he was giving us updates on his progress and was genuinely 'pumped-up' to see it (one day) come to fruition.

I am truly sorry to hear this and I hope the ol' master looks out for him in the next life. My sympathies and condolences goes out to his family and friends.

I was always inspired by his work. Sorry to see MM go.

These are sad and unexpected news. His creativity always gave me inspiration and I was always checking out his new projects.

Would they consider an auction of some of his art to pay to for the funeral or any expenses?

I'm so sorry to hear this and send you, his family and friends my deepest sympathy and much love. It was so wonderful to see his projects. His creativity will live on as an inspiration to many of us.

I remember he was always trying to help people, to be friends.
