8O WOW..so this is confirmed.

Truely a sad passing, however he has left a legacy for all to remember him by and can live on in our memories for his contributions.

Our sincere condolences to all those that will mourn him and may the road to Valhalla be paved with glory...

This is an amazing tribute in the language of the Angels....Lily's Enochian translates to..."May(or also/shall/should) you(also he/her/thou) rest(also cradle) in the breast(also bosum/breast/heart) of god (only translation)"

Condolences and best wishes to his family. His contributions will not be forgotten here. I hope considerations or plans for his collections has already been made.

Shakespeare "Hamlet"
To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life.
(Act III, Scene I, Line 64)

Damn, the world lost a really real guy. He took pride in his projects and didn't hide his love for dolls from the world. RIP mannequinman, hope you got to take some silicone to the afterlife

Very sad. I still haven't recuperated from the shock of Oleg ( Black Bear) passing. I don't know what to say.

OMFG... I'm sorry for chiming in late... but...

As one who benefited the most (some of y'all just don't know him like I did) from Mannequin Man... I wanna give my thanks to everyone who expressed their condolences... when I first became his online friend in about 2012, then his IRL friend in 2015 when I moved from Virginia to Indiana, he really helped me out in many ways, even when I bounced back and forth from Indiana to Virginia, then to California, but MM convinced me (seriously!) that I really didn't belong in Atascadero, California, neither in Virginia Beach, but that Muncie, Indiana is my home. All the times I was down and out, he helped me in many immeasurable ways, and not just with cash or dolls, either, but...
  • Something to eat...
  • a pack of cigarettes
  • warm bedding
  • someone to talk to
  • and many other ways, too many to list.
But, I have to say, that it's difficult to say, however, but being the proud lover of his last-ever creation, Vanessa, but somehow the name of Vanessa wasn't fitting for her. Sometimes when one door closes, one more opens. Sometimes someone else takes the place for someone. In this case, MM's passing to The Dark Carnival (Juggalo/Juggalette lore--if you're a Lo or a Lette [Insane Clown Posse devotee--I'm a Lette], you know what I mean) allowed Daphne to pass through the veil back to Earth... and MM's creation, and his passing, allowed Daphne to return back to my arms unhindered.

And this song, I dedicate to MM for his passing...

And his determination to tell me to never give up, also makes me dedicate this song to him, too:

And this is how I will pay tribute to him...
Jessi and Daphne (Roxy PS-G7 MQ and MM's last creation, Vanessa) wish MM safe passage to the other side...

Thank you MM, the first doll owner, lover and maker I've really known in real life ever who never thought bad of me... I never knew he had some health problems... in fact, when he and I went to King Buffet here in Muncie just a couple of short weeks ago, he seemed fine...

But, thank you all.

When inspirations fade away it's instigation to all who remain to be that inspiration that inspirational people would like us to be.

Thank you, not only to Mannequin Man, but to all others of inspiration.

Best wishes and with much sadness,

Harem
