Welcome to the March Cat D 'PCM' Challenge!
(Photo Composite / Manipulation)

This challenge is about developing your photo editing skills. To edit your original image to fit the theme.
You may have to add, remove, ... whatever it takes.

This months theme is “Dollywood”
Whether it’s your version of a classic movie poster, your gal (or guy) in a scene from your favorite film or show, or...
Whatever you can imagine
(within the theme, of course).

As a friendly reminder, please keep TDF Rule 1 in mind – particularly the bit about minors. The last time we had a movie theme there were a few issues (innocent though they were) concerning this.

I know what you mean about being careful, I had my entry removed in the miniature challenge because I just didn’t think when I tried to mimic a scene in a movie!

Cheers, Hollows.

Ok, guess I'll get the ball rolling....

One of my favorite movies of all time is "The Three Faces of Eve" starring Joanne Woodward.

Here's the original movie poster.

Great start, Mr. Franz. I would certainly pick Jyoti up ;)

Haven't actually seen that movie. I think I'll look and see if I can find it.

Edit: Cinema Nope :haha4: I just noticed that. :D

Thanks, Broven. That -NOPE- was a last minute gag. :D

"The Three Faces of Eve" came out in 1957. It was based on the true story of a woman with a 3-way split personality. Eve, was but one of her persona's.

Well, one of Ashaki's idols is Halle Berry! Ashaki especially loves her as Storm in X-Men! She had great fun trying to emulate her but I had a nightmare trying to work the photo up into what she wanted!!!! In the end we compromised a little!

So, here is.......

Ashaki as "Storm"

Attachment:
Ashaki As Storm.jpg

We started with Ashaki in front of a green screen (ish!) and a very large fan to spread the hair!
At first we were going to replace Halle in an original photo but that proved problematic owing to the only way I could get Ashaki to stand (upright!)!

Oh, and this one!

So, a lot of work using GIMP and PhotoScape tools to get to the entry!!!

Cheers, Hollows.

Electrifying! :D

I hardly ever watch superhero movies, but I do like the X-men movies. :)

Thanks Broven. I made the costume. Its a yellow long sleeve shirt with black tape placed on the sleeves and inner sides. Turns out the shirt is so long it works as a mini dress that looks awesome on her! Sorry the pic is sideways.

I've been a bit absent this month, so I want to apologize for that. But I thought I should start bumping this topic to get more entries in. As it stands right now, everyone will be a winner. :D

That would have been my idea DollDaddy but I wouldn't know how to do the Kill Bill graphics.

I have a custom made Kill Bill jumpsuit made that I would have usde plus a cheap Bride sword I've had for awhile. I probably would have had to lay her on the bed so she could hold the sword on her shoulder lol
