And, newer silicone isn't that firm at all. It's actually quite soft and fleshlike.
I don't know, my newer sanhui feels about the same as my zone..Just as my jm one. When compared to my tpe dolls. jm/san has about the same type of feel. My zone may be a bit more firmer.
I mean I can't even reach the end cap of my silicone doll with my finger, its too hard vs my tpe which is easy.
Silicone is really easy to clean with flushing. While TPE eh I don't trust without my boroscope if there are any damages in her fix design.
Silicone dolls don't have a cap or plug like TPE dolls do because they are molded differently.
I can force my middle finger up there and reach the end of her vaginal tunnel.
Forgot to mention I use a soft leather auto chamois to get excess water before I use the air bed pump.
I wrap it around my middle finger to get all excess water out of her va jay jay before I put the pump in to dry any and all dampness.
I have never had a mold issue in 3 years using this method.
Wow, I'm afraid of tearing mine, reaching that far, not sure of the tensile strength of her fixed design. Since I'm not really sure how far I could reach. I just poke in with a wood dowel with wrapped paper towel around pre measured so I know where to stop and leave there. Plus it has a feeling on where it ends.
I don't really see a cap on them with camera but I remember reading that they all do have some sort of cap design where it would break, I believe sanhui has one as well, I may be wrong.

Dolls need to be cleaned and maintained and powdered and eventually repaired. You have to take care of them, otherwise, it would be a big waste of money.
The chances of a self cleaning doll becoming available are pretty nil.
Even if you use a female condom, you have to put it in and take it out and clean it I guess.
I would never use one as it looks like shit hanging out of her and rubbers greatly reduce sensation whether for a male or female.
That is why I would never use them. I'd rather fully enjoy myself and just clean up my mess when I am done playing.
yeah thats probably why I havent really decided yet.. I dont even make my bed! All my life ive hated cleaning.. I tried a janitorial job one time, I lasted exactly one whole day! Never went back.. Also tried fast food jobs, I lasted half a day at one place, and 3 whole days at another.. Cleaning is just not within my skillset, or my ambitions.. Luckily im officially "retired" from the working world, thanks to winning my case for SSD, so I keep any and all my housecleaning to a bare minimum... Hence my inspiration for a self-cleaning doll, or at least a proper mechanism for it...

Hehe, believe it or not, ive never had a car EITHER... Ive also never driven in my life.. Ive been content walking everywhere, bicycling, buses, etc.. And at 48 and retired, I dont think I ever will... Vehicles are kinda like a never ending money pit, the expenses never stop!
As im way less experienced in dolls could you possibly clarify what you say about repairs to your doll.

I came across a relatively easy way of cleaning the doll after use and that is to use a vaginal irrigator to flush her out, followed by inserting two tampons one behind the other and leave for about three minutes to absorb any water. Leaves the inside nice and dry.
Quite honestly I don't find it that much of a hassle.
Just flush with some warm soapy water. Give it a few minutes to drain.
Apply some anti-bacterial spray, leave a few minutes then flush again.
Allow to drain, then get to work with my electric air mattress pump for 2-3 minutes to dry out.
Apply a bit of vaseline.
Job's a good 'un.
When you think about what would be required to make a doll self-cleaning...what it would add to the cost and the increased likelihood of stuff breaking. Not to mention what such systems might do to a doll's weight and appearance.
I'm quite happy putting in a little effort myself. Plus I actually quite enjoy showering with my doll afterwards.

What you need:
-stright locking forceps 10in
-spray bottle with water inside
-3 paper towels
-60 seconds
Process:
-wipe your self off.
-apply one squirt in to the vag
-swab vag with forceps using paper towel folded in a small square. Absorb all the cum, then dispose of paper towel
-now, rinse by partially filling the vag with 3 to 5 squirts. Then use the second paper towel to slosh around the water. Then dispose
-finally do a dry run with the third paper towel and leave her legs slightly gapped so the vag can dry out (not spread eagle)

That's an interesting cleanup method, but for all those purchases, and effort stills seems easier to rinse her down in the shower, douche her, and hang her in the closet spread with a fan on. I'm way more bothered by lint/fiber stuck to the body... I just need to find a good way of powdering been using a wide paint brush, but it comes really concentrated in some areas and occasionally the metal binding has brushed the body and left scuffs. Anyone know a good way to apply powder? Thinking maybe like a giant cotton ball kinda thing. Self-cleaning doll would be awesome. I use a hot water bottle (warm water not HOT!), soft soap antibacterial, a bed pan to collect the soap/water/cum, with an aquarium pump to dry her insides. Takes a few minutes to do but nothing too dramatic. The pump I just leave in her whenever not in use. If that is too much effort for you, you could always just use a female condom as an insert and then there would be no fuss, no muss clean-up!
If you choose to wait for a self cleaning doll my suggestion would be: Don't hold yer breath! LOL
