Is the Sicily head being discontinued?

Hi,

a couple of years ago, around October 2018, AS Doll introduced a beautiful head called Sicily. In the promotion photos, she looks like so:

A while ago, a customer ordered a separate Sicily head. This is the factory confirmation photo we got:

Obviously no resemblance at all, so the customer refused. AS Doll confirmed that they accidentally made the wrong head and promisd to make a new one.

Some time passed, and I asked if the Sicily head would have been completed in the meantime.

AS Doll replied that there are "some problems with the mold" and that they could "not make a good result".

I know that this can happen. After a couple of years, a mold can be worn out and needs to be replaced with a new one. In this case, the mold might be around five years in use. Sometimes a new mold is made from the master, and somtimes the head (or body) is simply discontinued.

So my question would be if AS Doll's Sicily head is officially being dicontinued, or if a new mold will be created.

thanks for your reply.

We have now established that the Sicily head is discontinued.

Also, the Jan head is discontinued as well (as of July 18th, 2023):

Also, the Sarah head is discontinued as well (as of July 19th, 2023):

However, for whatever reason, these faces are still advertised on your website, e.g.

They all seem to share the same mold, and AS Doll can not or does not want to make a new mold.

Since you can not fulfill this order of a Sicily, or a Jan, or a Sarah head, would you please kindly refund me the money I paid for this unavailable head?
