Is Realings base color achieved through mixing color in Silicone during pouring or

Poured I colored Silicone and base coat is painted on ? I understand that the veining and other custom shadings etc are painted on after the initial pour but I need to know how they achieve their base color. Base color = same color inside the doll and outside the doll same color throughout the doll and not a milky white color inside or under the outside painting. Thanks
