Looking for help with some major repairs.

I have Zelex doll and it came with articulate fingers. Now awhile ago I was trying to move her hands position and it was very stiff and I was struggling. Got a little frustrated and twisted it too hard. Her ring finger and pinky side of the hand broke and is now flimsy. The fingers still work fine but I believe the casing for the hand under the silicone broke.

Second issue is when trying to put on one of the two heads the base part with the nub that goes into the neck broke off the underside of the head. I was going to re attach it with a soldering kit, but the base of the head is just a small 1" metal spot surrounded by plastic and I can't solder it.

Here is two pictures of the base for the neck and the underside of the head along with a video showing how the hand bends now that its broken.

Side note if anyone knows how to restore rubbed off paint or a link to a guide that would be great!

I had exactly the same problem with my Zelex's head. It's a ridiculously weak connection. They (Zelex) offered to replace it so maybe raise this issue in the Zelex subforum in the hope that they'll offer you the same.

Great to hear that Zelex have helped you out. I was going to recommend Rev Jack or Wheezer, two of the best doll repairers here on TDF but it sounds like you have it sorted. Take care, Vickylover.

Thanks! This is actually good to know because her articulate pinky burst through her skin and I tried silicone glue but it didn't go well. I had done it before on a cut on her heel and that went well. I think the damage was just to large so I'll look into these users for help with that!!!!
