Modifying or resculpting SILICONE body surfaces?

Post by manfredixon »

I want to do some customization on my silicone Zelex doll and have a question about modifying silicone. I'm not a fan of protruding inner labia, so I want to cut them off and make them disappear. It's a matter of personal preference, so never mind my reasons - I just prefer the way it looks under clothing. Chunky cameltoes FTW!

I've successfully done similar mod/repair work on TPE dolls in the past, but I'm unsure if you can use the same workflow on silicone?

With TPE I usually cut off the material I no longer want, and since that leaves a pretty ugly surface I'd just heat up the back of a small spoon with a heat gun and gently shape/smooth out the material. Right afterwards I'd just dab the surface with a white cloth to create some texture, and voilá - perfect results every time!

I'll provide two images below; the left one is mine that I want to customize, and the right one is the same model but with its removable vagina insert taken out (that mine doesn't have), making a perfect template for what I'm after.

Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? I'm not too worried about the color differences, as I have other ways of fixing that.

Thanks,
Fred

Hi Manfredixon

I am not an expert, silicone once cured cannot be remoulded using heat.
I am sure you will get some better advice from members on how to do this
Best wishes

Peace

matt gloss is correct, Silicone can only be added to with Silicone adhesives or mechanically removed :(

Hmm ok, thanks guys, your input is much appreciated. I've seen a few posts about using a fine sandpaper to matt silicone surfaces, so perhaps cut off excess materials I don't want with a scalpel and then finish off with that?
