How to search for exact phrae?

Post by Elrond »

Is there a way of searching exact phrase? e.g. I’m looking for post with “soft feet”. But it comes back with anything containing either ofthe words as oppose to the exact term. I’ve tried single as well as double quotes but to no success.
Starpery 151cm with “Libby” (Lubby head)
Zelex 170C with “Mariana” (GE137), “Zoey” (GE98) and “Ori” (GE16)

I just tried with double quotes and every post from the search result had "soft feet" in it.
See: search.php?keywords=%22soft+feet%22&ter ... mit=Search

The double quote in your post above is not the normal one, looks like you are using a different unicode character.
vs. "
Mara (Dreamdoll Tania) - holiday trip (outdoor photos) and introduction
Lucia (Passiondolls 160cm Muscle Doll) - introduction and photos
Keira (Phicen Arhian Pirate) - outdoor adventures

Oh! Thanks for noticing. Hmmm now to figure out how to get those double quotes to come up!

You can also search for forum content directly from Google. In my experience, even though they’re external, Google does a good job. Just type 'soft feet site:dollforum.com' in the search bar. Good luck!

Just in case someone else is getting what I'm getting with double quotes ... I'm using a Mac (but I'm pretty sure it's for any computer) and this is actually a feature in Settings -> Keyboard to use "smart quotes". So by turning this off, it will revert to "straight" quotation marks as oppose to the "curly" quotation marks.
