Re: In Memoriam Nanako
We are not so different than each other than our companions. "We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 NKJV

Re: In Memoriam Nanako
I had loved his photographic montages and his beautiful piano improvisations in the style of Debussy, and had written to him about them. He had replied, as always, with great kindness.ariel_lover wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 10:09 pmFor those who only knew of our friend Art's talents with a camera, he posted a couple of his short piano compositions here (mp4 format)
Thanks to you Ariel_lover for reminding us of this great moment of pleasure and exchange with Nanako.

Re: In Memoriam Nanako
I know doll enthusiasts have a bad reputation, and I can understand why, but I truly believe that many of us are actually sensitive, gentle, creative souls. Nanako really embodied that.jantra wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2024 3:18 am He and I had many conversations about music.........................I will forever be reminded of him when I hear the Steely Dan song
