I ordered WM Doll heads 56, 230, and 418 (I'm a head collector, much to my demise.
) and I ordered them in early August, about the same time as my dolls. Without shopping and going solely on recommendation of SL, I paid more than I would have had I done more research. I still don't have them.Pre-sales support was good.
When I emailed them, I always got the "a ticket has been opened" response email. This was also from my original order, or if I tried to contact them for a status:
"Hey there!
Thanks for reaching out to Silicone Lovers, we got your message!
We've also opened a ticket for you (xxxxx), if you want to update your ticket, just reply to this email.
One of our team members will be in touch soon!
"A "real" response often took a two to four days and didn't really address my request for a status update. It was light on details and didn't answer my questions.
I got factory photos just last week. Not sure what's taking so long but I ordered other WM Doll heads from another vendor and have already received them 2 to 3 weeks ago. With a vendor that I know has a smaller staff. I did give them some feedback about the makeup, they said they would give that to the factory and.... nothing for about a week now.
By contrast, MRD and Coeros always responded in under 24 hours with detailed, up to date information. I don't have a problem with "no" or "not yet", just want something to acknowledge me.
One other thing, it would be helpful to have the head # in the filename because the promo photos often do not look like the factory photos. The file names were not related at all. I.E. "TH@726ZJ%M91]2{)3@D~I06_tmb.jpg" (below)
Please know I'm keeping this constructive and feedback from the customer will help with that. I do look forward to future business with them.
