Hi.
I look at it this way, as children we had teddy bears, as adults we have bare tiddies...

I'm curious how Amazon brands compare to say Temu, Shein, or other fast fashion brands

My Isabella has two we bought off of Amazon, one from SHEIN and very happy with all of them. All have been between $10-30 (USD). As with anywhere, it's all about being choosy while shopping, researching and reading reviews. Make sure they are returnable if you don't like how it looks upon receipt, which normally is not a problem with Amazon.

I have bought one wig off amazon, and it was great on the doll.

https://www.amazon.com/7JHH-WIGS-Synthe ... 78578&th=1

it comes in a number of colors as well. Cant beat it for $24.

what it looks like on the doll with messy bed hair,

and when combed

wigs really make or break the doll.

They are all about the same. Unless you get into high end wigs, Jon Renau Raquel Welsh, etc., you aren’t going to see much difference. I’ve been finding great wigs on AliExpress, which run about 20-40 bucks for nice quality synthetic wigs. Human hair is a bit more expensive, but Brazilian or Vietnamese hair wigs are somewhat cheaper and great quality. Wigs with a density of 150 or more are very nice. Finding petite caps is a challenge though.

Awesome thread and really helpful.

I would like to use Amazon mostly for convenience sake....and this made it easy to feel comfortable grabbing some $30 wigs for my girl before she gets here.

Cheers

We also have one from Wigyy coming, around $60. Depending on the satisfaction with it, they could become our new source and I might replace her existing ones. They (Wigyy) came highly-recommended from another trusted user here on TDF.

True its pricey. But sometimes a $20 wig on a $2000 doll looks like a $20 wig and ruins the asthetic. $200 wig on a 2k doll is 10% and if the wig makes the doll, then its worth it.

Not that you cant find a great wig for $30. But a lot of cheap wigs are cheap in quality and reduce the doll looks.

I wouldnt limit my budget on a wig to $30 when i spent $1500 to 3k on the doll. Getting the doll look to suit you is the end goal.

I will admit, the best i have bought was $28 off amazon. Not one for $100 or more.
