Doll upgrades

I'm sure everyone is tired of reading these "new buyer" type of posts, but if you're not, this question is for you! I've scoured so many first time buyer posts, but the forums are lacking in some information, and I finally built up the courage to ask!
I'm thinking of getting my first doll, and I'm looking at the Realing dolls on Spartan Lover, and the other sites where they sell Realing dolls. Spartan Lover seems to have upgrades that are specific to males, where other sites have upgrades that are female. Realing male dolls seem to be the most lifelike and detailed, and I love the muscular builds, just a little concerned about the weight, but it seems all the good male dolls are at least 70lbs.
My questions are 1) what upgrades are worth getting?
2) Anyone heard of longer term satisfaction with the quality and materials of Realing dolls?
3) Best sites to order from
4) Anything else a first time buyer should know?
5) Also penises for Realing dolls, are there really no balls that aren't cut in half at the back? I love having a set of full balls. Does anyone know of a 2nd hand market for penises that would attach to their metal-lock connector? Or is it better to get the suction cup type attachment?

This is how I ordered my realing:
#1 standing feet (without bolts is best). Most articulated skeleton offered. Hard hands & feet.
#2 get a tube of silpoxy. I've had tears in the groin & anal entry but was able to repair them with that. The doll is 2 yrs old.
# 3 I got mine from a different vendor not listed here I've used more than once with very good results. I'm over the moon about them.
#4 the body hair falls out easily so just be aware of that if you're into that. I prefer smooth.
# 5 make sure to ask if what you want is suction cup attachment friendly. Then you can shop for whatever kind you want ( I very much dislike the half cut balls myself. )

I would never have thought about doing repairs and what to use, that's great to know. Nice to hear that you seem to be still happy with it after 2 years too.
Which vendor did you go with? Are we not supposed to mention vendors? (if so, oops!)
I like a smooth chest too, but was interested in the pubic hair and treasure trail option bc I like a treasure trail, and the pubic hair seems to cover the fact that the penis is not seamless with the doll, but if it's just gonna fall out after a little bit, maybe not such a great idea.
They offer body paint of moles, shadows, etc and veins? Those all sound great, but I've no idea if it just rubs off like normal makeup or something, or if the veins are actually underneath the skin.
They also suggest the penis attachment metal lock in connector is better because the suction cup creates a pubic bulge. But I have no idea how bad this bulge is. I imagine if you're suggesting it, it can't be that bad. I'm with you, I'd rather have some other choices in the future.

Anyway, I have my research cut-out for me... So thankful to have this place and folks like you with experience. Hope once I order it doesn't take months and months, the rush charge is $1k!

Hey hotkidvicious101. I'm in the same position as yours. I'm putting together the same doll except I'm going to get the 5'9" body with the Phoenix head as I believe the 5'9" body might be a little more manageable. Here are the options that I would like to add: soft silicon head. kissable lips, mouth with a tongue. Because I'll opt for the soft head, it's best not to have implanted hair, that's not a problem, as I've already got a whole collection of wigs for him. I'd like to get the EVO skeleton with shrugging shoulders, articulated fingers and toes, standing feet without bolts, painted veins, realistic body paint, armpit hair, pubic hair with a treasure trail, and leg hair. I'm going to send photos to Spartan Lover of the type of treasure trail I'm interested in and armpit hair - I'm a bit particular about those! I would also like to have some silicon skin samples sent to me so I can see the skin tones for myself before I place an order. Those options cost more than the doll itself! I'm not exactly sure what the import charges are in Australia but I'm estimating the doll will cost between AU$10,500 to AU$11,000. I've been saving up for a long time!! Our dollar keeps weakening against the US dollar, so it's getting harder and harder for me.
